When you find the right property, you will need to complete a Tenancy Application Form.  If you have not previously rented through RE/MAX First you will need to provide copies of identification to the value of 100 points with your application. For example, a Drivers Licence, ATM card, credit card and a bill addressed to you at your current address.  Note: Application must be completed in full by each applicant.


Listed below are documents you may provide as well as their point value.


Primary Identification Documents


Passport (current or expired within last two years, but not cancelled)


Birth Certificate/Extract


Citizenship Certificate




Secondary Identification Documents

You may use several of the following to add to your Primary documents to reach 100 points.

Licence issued under Australian law which contains a photograph or signature


Government authority or public service employee’s ID card


Social Security, Health Care or Pension card


Tertiary Education Institution ID card



If You Wish To Use More Than One Document From This Group

the first document scores 40 points, but subsequent documents only score 25 points each.

A utility bill (e.g. telephone, water, electricity, gas, council rate notice)


Foreign driver’s licence


A bank/credit union/building society passbook, statement or debit/credit card.
