Profile

Moffat Beach is one of Caloundra's older beachfront suburbs and still has some of the original coastal village feel.  Located right on the water, near the town's core suburbs of Dicky, Shelly and Kings Beaches, Moffat Beach has an enviable waterfront lifestyle in striking distance of all modern amenities. Property prices in the area have seen excellent growth over the past few years, as the suburb's renovation potential and access to all the modern conveniences have attracted families and retirees.

While some units and townhouses have sprung up, the majority of housing is still detached, whether traditional or renovated Queenslanders, Chamferboard homes or more modern brick and tile properties.  As with most of the Caloundra area, the seachange phenomenon has also had a big impact on the area with 'cashed-up' buyers moving from their traditional city homes for a semi or permanent retirement by the sea. Investors have also been attracted to the area. While Moffat Beach itself is quite a small suburb, schools, shopping centres, churches, parklands and sporting facilities can all be found in neighbouring Caloundra.
