Battery Hill is a suburb located within the Caloundra urban centre 4 kilometres north of Caloundra.
Easy access to beaches and schools
One of the Caloundra region's older suburbs, quiet Battery Hill has experienced excellent price growth over the past few years as investors, families and retirees snap up properties. Located just north of Dicky Beach and within one minute of the coastline, Battery Hill doesn't have any direct beachfront property but still offers a traditional seaside village lifestyle within minutes from modern conveniences. The area has been very popular with both investors and renovators. Housing in the suburb is mostly detached, with post-war and chamferboard properties as well as more modern brick and tile houses available. Units and townhouses have also sprung up in the area. As with many Caloundra suburbs, residents of Battery Hill have to travel to access facilities such as schools and shops. However, this trip is very short and major supermarkets, primary and secondary schools, leisure facilities and parklands are all within a five minute drive. Transport needs are serviced by buses and private transport.
