SellingbyAuctin_Med.jpgThe purpose of inspections is to advise the owner of the condition of their property and how it is being maintained, to identify any preventative maintenance that can be actions and to ensure that the property is safe and secure for you to live in . You will be given the opportunity to advise us of any repairs or maintenance you feel is needed.

Initial Inspection
Upon the commencement of your lease, RE/MAX First will complete an inspection and full condition report. You will be given the opportunity to check this, add to it and return it to us within 3 business days. RE/MAX First refer to this report at the end of the tenancy. It is therefore in your best interest to read through the condition report thoroughly, provide comments to us within the timeframe listed on the condition report, and ensure you retain a copy in a safe place.

Periodic Inspection
RE/MAX First will routinely inspect your rented property. After you move into the premises the first inspection will be in about 6-8 weeks and then approximately every 13 weeks thereafter, a property manager will carry out the inspection. As per the legislation you will be issued with notice of these inspections outlining the date/time of the inspection

Final Inspection
Final inspections are conducted upon vacating the property. The final inspection report is closely checked with the condition report completed during the initial inspection to ensure that there has been no damage (beyond normal wear and tear) and that no fixtures have been removed (e.g. light fittings).
